Shirley Wall Dance offers highly qualified tuition at all levels from "first step" beginners to advanced. We have classes in a variety of different styles of dance – Social Dancing, Latin American, Ballroom and New Vogue.

Specialized private lessons are also available for – beautiful wedding dance memories, corporate team building or for those who prefer on‐on‐one learning.

Beginners' Dancesport - Ballroom & Latin American Dance Courses

These popular 5 week courses include some of the social dances - Waltz, Rhythm, Rock n Roll, Salsa, Rumba, Swing & Cha Cha Cha. An introduction to partnership dancing, they focus on the basic steps introducing groups of figures creating a solid foundation for your dancing. No previous experience or rhythm is required.

5 week courses commence:

Social Ballroom & Latin American

  • Wednesday 28 February - 6.30 to 7.30pm
  • Let's learn & master the Waltz & Cha Cha Cha

5 week term fees per course : $70 single/$135 couple (pre-paid)

Dance studio is in town, make a night of it with supper afterwards.

Enrolment is essential. Course fee only, no casual rate.

Junior Dancesport class - 8 to 13yrs

Tiny Tots Ballroom - 4 to 7yrs

  • Latin & Rhythm
  • It's never too early to enjoy learning the basics of Ballroom & Latin American dancing.
  • Enjoy partnering your child as you both learn the dance moves.

5 week term fees : $55

Improvers Ballroom & Latin American Dance Courses

You will continue to learn more adventurous steps in the dances you learnt in the Beginners' Courses. Technique will start to be introduced. There is the option to opt into the Medal Test programme from this level onwards.
